State Spending by Agency
Find out how much individual state agencies, colleges and universities spend, and who they're buying from.
The search tools gather an immense amount of data and can take a few minutes to fully load.
Note: Individual state employee paychecks that reflect net salary are confidential and exempt from disclosure under the Texas Open Records Act, according to the Texas Attorney General. Therefore, they do not appear on the check register.
The example in the sample image below shows broad spending categories and amounts for the Comptroller's office in fiscal year 2008. This information is available for every state agency, college and university.
