Terms and Conditions for Use of Comptroller Data from Open Data Center
The Comptroller's office provides this information as a public service, free of charge. Data is compiled from a variety of sources, and includes public information from Comptroller systems and information from other state and federal agencies and organizations. Information is included using the best sources available; however, the Comptroller's office does not independently verify information from outside sources. The Comptroller's office makes no guarantees as to the accuracy, completeness or currency of the information.
Data accessed from the Comptroller's office can be downloaded and applied for secondary uses. But once the data has been downloaded from the Comptroller's office, the agency cannot vouch for the quality and timeliness of the data as it is applied for secondary use. In addition, the Comptroller's office cannot vouch for any analyses conducted with data downloaded from this site.
In addition to the requested citation for each dataset that may be included in the description for each file, citations for Comptroller data should include the date the data was downloaded and also state the following: "The Comptroller of Public Accounts cannot vouch for the data or analysis derived from data after it has been retrieved from the Comptroller's Web site."
